With paramount success of 26th Laguna Phuket Triathlon (LPT) in November 2019, Asia’s premier and award-winning destination resort Laguna Phuket has announced the award-winning race’s 27th annual edition is to take place on Sunday 22 November 2020.
On Monday 9 December, Asia’s premier destination resort Laguna Phuket was named Honorable Contributor in Sports and Exercise by Ministry of Tourism and Sports’ Department of Physical Education (DPE) at its 86th anniversary celebration, held at National Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
Laguna Resorts & Hotels PLC (Laguna Phuket) was awarded CSR Excellence (ACE) Recognition by the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) in Thailand for its outstanding contribution towards cultural diversity as demonstrated by multiple traditional events hosted at the resort for community members such as Loy Krathong Festival, Phuket Vegetarian Festival as well as outreach activities such as parades and merit makings at the temples on Buddhist Lent Day and Thai Sart Day, food and necessities donation to mosques during ramadan and to Chinese shrines during vegetarian festival.
Today (24 November) Switzerland’s Ruedi Wild and Imogen Simmonds both gave stellar performances and took top podium, overall and in the women’s field, at 26th Laguna Phuket Triathlon.

Asia’s premier destination resort Laguna Phuket was selected to host Thailand’s mega charity run event “Kao Kon La Kao – Southern Series” on Sunday 27 October. Over 13,000 charity runners, led by Kao Foundation’s Founder and Thailand’s no.1 rock star Artiwara (Toon) Kongmalai, collectively broke the record as the largest mini-marathon event organised in the South of Thailand.
