 Celebrity-loved Vive Cake Boutique saunters into the glorious summer season with three brand new signature libations at H Queen’s, Central.  Featuring luscious fruityflavours and textures, Founder Vivien Lau’s new exciting creations bring a refreshing, cooling taste to the City, highlighting her ingredient-focused food philosophy of low sugar and low fat.

Summers are all about being outdoors and being inspired by nature. No place in the world exemplifies this Ntoltse Vita than the Greeks.  Vive Cake Boutique captures the essence of a Greek summer in the islands with “So Fluffy!” (HK$55), a dreamy, creamy drink made with fresh raspberries, Greek yoghurt and honey. Fresh cream is used to emulate the fluffy clouds that scatter a beautiful summer sky.  A dash of psaz can be added with pastel coloured marshmallows and a mixture of sprinkles, inviting guests to tap into their creativity and have a little fun with their drink.

Sophisticates, tea drinkers and berry lovers will revel in “Strawbilicious Hibiscus” (HK$58), a scarlet drink exquisitely presented in a martini glass and a mini decanter.  Fresh strawberries and Hibiscus tea is melded together in this creation, which not only refreshes but is also a cure for high blood pressure — a necessity in the hot, sticky summers of Hong Kong.

Infuse the blazing summer with sweet magic courtesy of “The Magic Stir” (HK$68), a refreshing light drink that is as aesthetically delightful and delicious.  Summer favourite, pink lemonade, is given a glamorous “glow up”, with Vive’s one-of-a-kind popsicle featured as a stir.  Edible flowers are released into the sea of pink lemonade as the magical popsicle stirrer melts, releasing a pleasant surprise.  Complementing the lemonade is the crowd-pleasing butterfly pea tea flower – the caffeine-free herbal tea made with Clitoria leaves and dried Lemongrass is presented in a vintage perfume bottle, its natural deep purple colouring enticing and full of antioxidants all at once.

Vive Cake Boutique has proved a roaring success story since being launched with online orders in 2014 by founder and creative director Vivien Lau, who discovered her passion and talent by chance, making her first cake for a friend’s birthday.

Her signature ‘handmade with love’ cakes, cupcakes, macarons, cookies, confectioneries and tailor-made cakes for weddings and special occasions, are all made from scratch from finest  ingredients sourced from all over the world.
