The Travel Corporation has announced that Fiona Dalton, CEO of The Travel Corporation in Australia and also Managing Director of Uniworld Australia, will leave the company on 2 March, 2021.

Dalton has said that said stepping down had been one of the most difficult career decisions she would ever make, stating that the impact of COVID-19 has irrevocably changed many of us, and for her it has ignited her desire to consider her next chapter

In  the announcement, The Travel Corporation Global CEO, Brett Tollman said he respected Dalton’s decision to resign, saying she had led from the front through a very challenging period, adding, “I want to sincerely thank Fiona for her outstanding contributions over the last five years, and wish her well in whichever future direction she chooses,” adding, “However, we recognise that the world has changed immeasurably since Fiona’s appointment was announced, and we subsequently respect Fiona’s decision to resign for personal reasons.”

Tollman has announced that The Travel Corporation Executive Director David Hosking will assume The Travel Corporation CEO responsibilities for the Australian business when Dalton departs and that Alice Ager will take over as GM of Uniworld Australia.
