Australia’s leading food rescue organisation, OzHarvest, has teamed with Huma Charity Challenge to launch a fundraising trek within the iconic Kakadu National Park in Australia’s top end which will help provide meals for people in need.

OzHarvest Founder and CEO, Ronni Kahn is excited to be joining the seven-day challenge, departing Darwin on 25 August 2019.

“OzHarvest is thrilled to be the charity partner for the Kakadu Bushtucker Challenge, which will help raise much-needed funds to support our work stopping good food from going to waste and getting it to hungry people. Every dollar raised, helps provide two meals to people in need.”

Leading charity and corporate travel challenge organiser, Huma Charity Challenge is running this trek with OzHarvest benefitting as the charity partner.

As well as guided walking through some of Australia’s most iconic world heritage area and overnight stays in environmentally friendly semi permanent campsites, there’s the opportunity to learn about and taste delicious bushtucker, the chance to delve into the fascinating history and rock art of Australia’s traditional owners and importantly, to raise funds for OzHarvest.

As this is a fundraising trek for OzHarvest, participants are encouraged to register as soon as possible as numbers are limited and time should be allowed for both fundraising and training.
