From fine dining to lavish spas and stunning pool decks to open bars, there has never been a better time to indulge in a luxury cruise.
During Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) Australasia’s annual month-long cruise promotion #ChooseCruise (formerly Plan a Cruise Month), the association is encouraging holidaymakers to treat themselves to the finer things in life and choose a luxury cruise.
CLIA Australasia & Asia Managing Director Joel Katz said luxury cruises offered the height of sophistication and style at sea.
“Like a floating five-star hotel complete with all the trimmings, a luxury cruise is a fabulous way to travel.
“Guests can watch the world go by from the comfort of a stylish and spacious suite, waking up to a new destination every other day without having to pack or step foot in an airport.
“High end travellers who like champagne on tap, all-you-can-eat caviar, fine dining by Michelin-starred chefs, a personal butler, luxe suites and bespoke experiences, will love a luxury cruise.
“But luxury cruising isn’t just for the rich and famous. While luxury cruises may come with a higher price tag, many include shore excursions, fine dining, drinks, entertainment and sometimes even wi-fi, in the fare.
“When you add transport into the mix, it’s hard for land-based luxury providers to compete.
“Luxury vessels come in all shapes and sizes from boutique ships carrying a few hundred guests to opulent liners with grand spaces so no matter a traveller’s taste or style, a CLIA travel agent will be able to match them to their ideal luxury cruise,” Mr Katz said.
This week (October 16-22), CLIA travel agents and luxury cruise operators are offering great deals to encourage even more holidaymakers to indulge in a luxury cruise.
Expedition cruising will be promoted in the final week of CLIA’s #ChooseCruise campaign.
