A touch of tradition with a twist of the Cape and a dash of glamour; the Festive season is set to unfold in magical style at The Table Bay in Cape Town, South Africa.

Renowned for celebrating the season with exuberance, The Table Bay harnesses the spirit of Africa and the splendour of the Western Cape Summer to create exceptional holiday experiences.

This year, Christmas day is aptly dubbed, Cape Christmas Magic, with a sumptuous Cape Town-inspired menu while the New Year’s celebrations have a glamorous and distinctly African feel.

For Christmas, The Table Bay will stage three grandiose feasts; Christmas Eve dinner in The Atlantic venue on 24 December and Christmas lunch and dinner in The Atlantic on 25 December.

The gorgeous harvest tables blend Christmas classics with contemporary flavours and authentic South African fare.

There will be an array of starters, from salads and cheeses to fresh Knysna oysters, and an inspiring selection of meats, seafood and vegetable dishes for mains.

Pastry chef, Lee-Andra Govender, is creating a rainbow of desserts as well as a candy corner featuring handcrafted Christmas sweets to end off the meal.

New Year’s Eve is a stylish fusion of African food, culture and glamour.

There are two Africa Draped in Gold-themed parties. One is strictly for guests over the age of 12 and will be staged in The Atlantic, whilst the other will be hosted in The Ballroom where children are welcome to join the party.

After the decadent meal, guests will be invited to don their dancing shoes and continue the party in the Pavilion.
