Today, Gaylord Hotels is pleased to announce that ticket sales for its annual Christmas at Gaylord Hotels program are open. With guests and locals now able to pre-purchase individual tickets in anticipation of the holiday season, Gaylord Hotels is excited to unveil its full lineup of Christmas programming that will be featured at Gaylord Palms in Florida, Gaylord Opryland in Tennessee, Gaylord Texan in Texas and Gaylord Rockies in Colorado, alongside its new, previously-announced marquee pop-up experience, “I Love Christmas Movies.”
For more than three decades, Gaylord Hotels has become legendary for providing magical holiday events and activities for winter visitors to experience, and this year will be no different. Whether staying at any of the four hotels or visiting for the day, Christmas at Gaylord Hotels promises an abundance of exciting, interactive and immersive experiences and activities suitable for all ages.
Signature brand experiences
Anchoring Christmas fun at each resort is I Love Christmas Movies, an exclusive multi-sensory pop-up exhibition in collaboration with Warner Bros. Consumer Products allowing guests to experience beloved holiday movies, including THE POLAR EXPRESS™, A CHRISTMAS STORY™, ELF™, NATIONAL LAMPOON’S CHRISTMAS VACATION™, and THE YEAR WITHOUT A SANTA CLAUS™, in a completely new way. All designed with social distancing measures at the forefront, as guests young and young at heart navigate the multi-sensory exhibits, they will enjoy more than 13 fully-immersive scenes complete with replicas of film props, audio clips and more, making participants feel as if they have stepped into part of the actual story.
All four resorts will also showcase Character Dining, where guests can interact with their favorite festive characters including Charlie Brown™ & Friends, The Grinch, or Elf on the Shelf. Each resort will also offer Photos with Santa by DEI, a Gingerbread Decorating Corner and Build-A-Bear Workshop®. Mrs. Claus’ Christmas Traditions, a live retelling of the Christmas Classic, ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas,’ will be available at several properties alongside scavenger hunts and more.

With acres of airy indoor atriums decorated with millions of twinkling holiday lights, towering Christmas trees and thousands of shimmering ornaments, coupled with abundant outdoor fun, visitors can look forward to a myriad of festive property-specific experiences this year, including the following:
Gaylord Palms
Brand-new this year, Gaylord Palms will delight guests with the immersive Snow Factory, including Snow Flow Mountain, where they can slide through factory conveyor belts that have frozen solid and ride on tubes down a thrilling Plummet slide or hilly ice coaster. Several live shows will be performed on the grand St. Augustine Stage including, the dazzling Cirque Dreams Unwrapped stage show featuring stunning feats of showmanship performed on stage and in the air. Guests can also get into the Christmas spirit with The Greatest Story, a multicultural, musical journey celebrating the Christ story, or The Journey of Los Tres Reyes Magos, where they can join the Three Kings in a musical celebration as they retell the Christmas story and the celebrations surrounding it, including Las Posadas and el Día de los Reyes! An Elf Training Academy invites little guests to enter the Alpine Workshop and become one of Santa’s helpers in this interactive experience.
Gaylord Opryland
The expansive Nashville resort will offer live shows including, the Rockin’ Christmas On Ice Skating Show featuring champion skaters, big jumps, fast spins and awe-inspiring throws and lifts. Guests can also visit the Pinetop Stage, an outdoor Appalachian-esque village with live performances, shopping, tubing, ice skating and ice bumper cars, festive beverages and more. And no visit to Gaylord Opryland would be complete without experiencing SoundWaves, the resort’s upscale water attraction that unites extraordinary environments, exclusive amenities and relaxing water features with energetic rides, immersive music and an extraordinary oasis for people of all ages to enjoy. Holiday outdoor fun can be enjoyed via private horse-drawn carriage rides and nightly caroling on the Magnolia lawn. Indoors, visitors can be sure to check out a synchronized fountain show, sing along with Dickens carolers, and pose at an array of Christmassy selfie spots.
Gaylord Texan
No Christmas visit to Gaylord Texan is complete without experiencing the brand-new walkthrough outdoor lights attraction, Yuletide Bright. Evoking a heart-warming feeling of Christmas, Yuletide Bright features over 80,000-square-feet of colorful, glowing holiday-themed lights, characters and scenes. Guests can also take a thrilling ride down the Snow Tubing hill made with real snow, glide on the outdoor Ice-Skating Rink, enjoy snowy fun in a Build-Your-Own-Snowman activity using real snow, take a spin on the Christmas Carousel, flex their critical thinking skills in two holiday Escape Rooms, divulge in a delicious buffet at the Elf on the Shelf Character Breakfast, and complete holiday themed art in the Christmas Craft Studio. The resort’s four-and-a-half acres of airy indoor gardens will be decorated with two million holiday lights, 15,000 festive ornaments, a Polar Express themed miniature train set, roaming entertainers, and a brand-new enchanting 52-foot tall Christmas tree featuring a light show.
Gaylord Rockies
Adventurous outdoor fun awaits at Gaylord Rockies with ice bumper cars, where guests can experience the thrill of zooming around on ice, sliding, spinning and bumping with friends and family. In addition to other festive activities, including four-lane snow tubing, the property’s Snow Merry Go Round invites families to take a spin on this timeless attraction, providing endless fun for all ages. Not to be missed is the LIGHT! Experience. Inspired by the high gusts across the Mile-High City, LIGHT! is an artistic take on the wind and its effect on the landscapes of Colorado. The beauty of this exhibit is revealed in the everchanging art formed by the influence and power of nature’s fury. Because Mother Nature is the designer, each installation is constantly evolving, never appearing the same way twice.

Available at select properties, guests of Gaylord Hotels can take advantage of a dedicated SO.MUCH.CHRISTMAS. Premium Package, which offers amenities such as tickets to I Love Christmas Movies, ice skating tickets, snow tubing tickets, scavenger hunt booklets and gingerbread house kits. A separate Christmas Signature Event Package, which will also include tickets to I Love Christmas Movies, will allow guests to enhance their immersive experience with a hotel stay.
