The annual Masters Conference gives CLIA travel agents who have achieved Ambassador status the chance to advance their sales and marketing skills in a conference setting, while also experiencing a CLIA cruise line member vessel first-hand.

US-based sales guru and motivator Scott Koepf will return to oversee CLIA Australasia’s 22nd Masters, taking participants through a series of seminars on topics from hands-on sales skills to understanding marketing, mastering customer service, and even life planning.

The conference schedule will involve six three-hour sessions in a format that offers plenty of time to learn as well as ample leisure time to enjoy the ship and port calls.

The six-day cruise will depart Sydney on November 2, visiting Hobart and Port Arthur before returning to Sydney on November 8.

CLIA Australasia & Asia Managing Director Joel Katz said the annual Masters Conference was aimed at all types of CLIA travel agent members, from consultants to owners and managers.

“The CLIA Masters Conference is an excellent way for agents to advance their professional development and hone their skills in sales and marketing,” Mr Katz said. “The content is designed to inspire all levels of participants regardless of their role within the industry, giving them practical insight and motivation that will help them remain at the top of their game.”

After completing the Masters course and a comprehensive work-based assignment, agents will receive 100 accreditation points and enter the prestigious CLIA Cruise Masters ranks with perks including a higher search ranking on the CLIA Australasia website.

The conference is open to all consultants who hold CLIA Ambassador level accreditation and are employed by a CLIA member travel agent.
