Australian consumer champion CHOICE has entered the travel refund battle zone and is seeking input from consumers about their travel refund scenarios.

CHOICE says collecting data form consumers affected that will help CHOICE work out if any reforms are needed.

With refunds having been an issue for some time they have been brought to a head through what is reported as the less than professional behaviour of some operators and the CHOICE survey asking whether respondents would share their stories with media to show some of the challenges consumers faced, along with whether Australia’s laws be changed to make it easier to access refunds or compensation in the event of future events like COVID-19?.
