As talks of international borders getting closer to opening between Australia and the Cook Islands increase, travel agents are encouraged to become Cook Islands specialists through an all new online training platform, focused on the two most popular of the 15 islands – Rarotonga and Aitutaki.
The training platform is free for travel agents and features five modules:
- About the Cook Islands
- About Rarotonga
- Where to stay and things to do in Rarotonga
- About Aitutaki
- Where to stay and things to do in Aitutaki.
The modules provide an in-depth insight into the landscape, access, weather, seasons, currency, accommodation and transport around the islands.
Once complete, travel agents can download a Certification of Completion certifying themselves as specialists in selling the Cook Islands.
Registration and completion of the specialist program also provides travel agents with the opportunity to avail themselves of agent incentives and discounts for their own travel.
