Cruise the wilds of Scotland and save up to US$4000 per couple – No solo supplement for single travellers

Rugged ruins, ancient villages, world-famous distilleries and whales are just some of the highlights of an Adventure Canada expedition voyage of Scotland in 2021, with earlybird savings offered for bookings made by mid-2020.

Adventure Canada and Cruise Traveller are offering a 15 per cent earlybird saving on the ‘Scotland Slowly’ cruise as well as a free night’s accommodation, meaning couples can save up to US$4000 if they book by June 1, 2020.  Plus, no solo supplement will be charged for single travellers in selected cabin categories (3-7). Offers are subject to availability

Beginning on June 13, 2021, guests will enjoy a free night’s accommodation in Glasgow before boarding Adventure Canada’s 198-passenger, eco-friendly vessel, the Ocean Endeavour for a 10-night cruise from Glasgow to Aberdeen. Inspired by the notion that Scotland, like a good whiskey, is best savoured slowly, the cruise will showcase the wildlife, scenery, history, nature and culture of Scotland’s shores.

Highlights of the journey include Scotland’s wildest, farthest-flung islands – the Hebrides, Orkneys and the Shetlands. Visit the Norse town of Kirkwall, filled with rugged ruins, including the nearby standing stones of Stenness -one of the best-preserved examples of an ancient Norse town. Stop at Foula, the most remote, inhabited island in Great Britain, with a population of just 30 people. Guests will also have an opportunity to purchase the world-famous Harris Tweed, which is hand-woven from pure virgin wool dyed and spun in the Outer Hebrides Islands. The cruise will culminate in Aberdeen, from which guests can begin their journey home.

Beginning on June 13, 2021, including a free night’s hotel accommodation in Glasgow, the 10-night cruise, all shipboard meals, interactive workshops and all sightseeing, the cruise is available from US$7050 per person, twin share – including the 15 per cent discount, if booked by June 1, 2020. This represents a saving of more than US$2490 per couple.  The most exclusive suites (category 9) are available from US$12,406 per person, twin share, including the 15 per cent discount, if booked by June 1, 2020 – a saving of over US$4000 per couple. The fares are also open to single travellers, with no solo supplements charged (for categories 3-7), subject to space at time of booking.

In 2021, Adventure Canada will also offer cruises through Basque Country in France and Spain, a voyage around the top of Scotland, a journey from Scotland to Iceland showcasing the Faroe Islands and a circumnavigation of Iceland.
