This week, David Citadel Jerusalem and Mamilla Hotel hosted 17 international world leaders, royalty and dignitaries who arrived in Israel as part of the Fifth World Holocaust Forum. The David Citadel Jerusalem welcomed the arrival of President Vladimir Putin of Russia (pictured, below left, alongside David Citadel General Manager Rodney Sanders), Prokopis Pavlopoulos, President of Greece, Alexander Van Der Bellen, President of Austria, and Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Lavrov Sergey Lavrov.

Amongst the dignitaries and world leaders who arrived at Mamilla Hotel include: Excellency the Right Her Honorable Julie Payette, Governor General and Commander-in-Chief of Canada; Her Excellency President of Slovakia, Ms. Zuzana Caputova; HE The President of the Republic of Finland, Mr. Sauli Niinisto; HE President of Armenia, Dr. Armen Sarkissian; HE Prime Minister of The Kingdom of Denmark, Mrs. Mette Frederiksen; HE Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Sweden , Mr. Stefan Lofven; HE President of the Republic of Serbia, Mr. Aleksandar Vucic; HE Deputy Prime Minister of Russian Federation, Mr. Maxim Akimov (Transport, Communications and Digital Economy); HE Minister of State of the Principality of Monaco, Mr. Serge Telle; HE President of Moldova, Mr. Igor Dodon; HE President of Montenegro. Mr. Milo Dukanovic; HE President of North Macedonia, Mr. Stevo Pendarovski; HE President of Iceland, Mr. Guoni Thorlacius Johannesson; HE President of Georgia, Ms. Salome Zourabichvili; HE Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Zeljko Komsic.
The event for which the world leaders arrived in Jerusalem, headlined “Remembering the Holocaust, Fighting Antisemitism,” was co-organized by the office of President Reuven Rivlin, Jerusalem’s Yad Vashem Holocaust memorial center and the World Holocaust Forum Foundation. The Forum consists of two main parts – a state dinner at President Rivlin’s official residence on Wednesday night and a memorial ceremony at Yad Vashem.
