The Nordic tour operator and destination specialist, 50 Degrees North, has created some new resources for travel agents: A series of Nordic destination webinars and a brand-new Nordic Escapes travel podcast.

The first series of webinars, available on the company’s agent page, included the following: 50 Degrees North’s Nordic Manager, Satu Vänskä-Westgarth, delved into the unusual Faroe Islands; the Director in Australia, Mari Räsänen, described the ins and outs of 50DN’s escorted Christmas in Lapland tours; the CEO and co-founder, Tietse Stelma, gave listeners an update on Norway; Norwegian Destination Specialist Camilla Dahle described 50DN’s escorted multi-country Lapland Circle tour in detail; and Swedish Destination Specialist Anna Hård gave practical tips and insights regarding travel itineraries in her home country of Sweden.
The Nordic Escapes travel podcast by 50 Degrees North is a monthly podcast that will begin in mid-August 2020. The first podcast will be a short introduction, followed by monthly tips and insights on travelling in the Nordic region. Some of the planned topics include Christmas in Lapland, off the beaten path in Iceland, Northern Lights, and the Nordic capitals. Stay tuned for more details on 50DN’s agent page.
