James Adkin, Explore’s Programme Manager for Cycling, comments, “Our new trips for 2020 really go to show that cycling can be the best way to see the landscapes of a country and really get under its skin. Our Cycle Lebanon trip is a real highlight – the only itinerary of its kind, it takes in thousands of years of history and uncovers the very best of Lebanese culture, stunning scenery and cuisine.”

Caroline Phillips, Explore’s Programme Manager for Walking and Trekking, also commented, “Our new walking trips for 2020 really take travellers off the beaten track, with some exciting experiences and destinations you can only visit on foot. From hiking rainforest trails on the lush Caribbean island of Dominica to walking in Azerbaijan’s Caucasus Mountains and climbing Tuscany’s highest peak. These trips also offer a huge range of cultural experiences in addition to walking, from visiting the UNESCO World Heritage site of Xanthos in Turkey to exploring Bhutan’s famous Tiger’s Nest monastery.”
