Moscow Domodedovo Airport and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) have launched the “In the Cause of Peace” interactive project as a tribute to the organization’s 70th anniversary.
The digital exhibition explores UNHCR’s work in Iraq, Mozambique, Mali and other countries. It also features individuals across the globe who fled their homes and had to stay in refugee camps. The photographs also capture the activities of the Agency’s Goodwill Ambassadors, including Angelina Jolie and Ben Stiller.
Visitors to the site can also learn about DME partners – Qatar Airways, Etihad Airways, Lufthansa and Emirates – airlines that help refugees via relief aid.
