Spread the love

For the first time in its 50 years of existence, Glastonbury Festival together with the BBC is sharing live performances through its various TV, radio, online and social channels this year. Fans are being encouraged to imagine they are right there in the small village of Somerset, UK by recreating their own festival experience with #GlastoAtHome from now until Sunday 28th June.

Headline acts for this year’s virtual experience include superstars Lady Gaga, Kylie, The Killers and Ed Sheeran. From specially created playlists of pervious live performances from artists and bands at Glastonbury over the years, there’s plenty of music content, interviews and playlists to keep you entertained into the wee hours.

In Australia, music fans can access the BBC’s Glastonbury Festival content by signing up online at BBC Sounds or subscribing to its YouTube channel. To celebrate all that is GREAT about Britmusic, VisitBritain has created a special series of Spotify playlists and an ode to Britain’s rich music heritage on our British Entertainment Hub.

So turn up the volume, put on your Hunter wellies and even pitch a tent in the backyard as you join the festival community celebrating Glastonbury 2020. Don’t forget to use #GlastoAtHome to share your @homefun and keep up to speed with the festival programme as it rolls out virtually!
