Dreamworld has shown off its diverse range of new and improved meeting and event experiences, which is set to shake up South East Queensland’s corporate and events scene.

The extravagant showcase event was attended by more than 100 representatives from businesses around Brisbane and the Gold Coast this week.

The group was treated to an exclusive journey through Dreamworld’s unique selection of event venues including Main Street, Tiger Island, Land of Awesomeness, Trolls Village and a new addition to the portfolio – an indoor event space that showcase guests where invited to help name.

The evening kicked off with canapes, a light show and musical performances at the iconic Globe, and guests enjoyed dancing, music and a comedic performance at the site of the i-Ride simulator, due to open at the end of the year.

Guests then walked through Main Street into the DreamWorks precinct where they were greeted by DreamWorks’ favourite characters such as Shrek, King Julien, Alex the Lion and Skipper the Penguin – a unique meet and greet experience to Dreamworld!

Entrée was served at Tiger Island, an undercover venue that can accommodate up to 500 people, where guests were treated to an exclusive tiger presentation while enjoying Asian-inspired food in a relaxed setting. Private events held at Tiger Island assist with Dreamworld’s efforts towards wild tiger conservation with a portion of the event cost going towards the Dreamworld Wildlife Foundation.

For the main course, guests were introduced to Dreamworld’s newest event space, previously known as Brock’s Garage. The attraction has now been transformed into the ultimate event space for private functions, which can host up to 550 guests seated and 750 guests for a cocktail function.

This unique 1500 square meter space is Dreamworld’s largest indoor venue suitable for gala dinners, launches, exhibitions, meetings and more. It will also be used for pop-up attractions such as the LEGO Brickman exhibition being hosted during the upcoming school holidays.

Dessert was hosted in the new DreamWorks Trolls Village precinct, providing plenty of sparkle, colour and sweet treats to round up the Events Showcase, with the night concluding with a flash-mob and fireworks spectacular at The Globe.

The Event Showcase was just a taste of conference and event options available at Dreamworld with a total of 15 exciting venues spread across the park

With a dynamic range of venues and spaces available at the park, there’s an area suited to every occasion, accommodating to all group sizes both day and night. Whether it is an intimate dinner on Tiger Island, Corporate Team Building, a stunning Gala Dinner in Main Street, or a Cocktail Party, Dreamworld is the perfect place to create an unforgettable experience for your next event.

To take the stress out of organising your occasion, the Dreamworld’s Events and Corporate Sales team can tailor a package to suit your budget and requirements.
