Women in Tourism (WiT) will celebrate International Women’s Day with their annual lunch event on Friday 6 March at the State Library of NSW.

Tourism Tasmania Director Michelle Cox will join Business Events Sydney CEO Lyn Lewis-Smith and Head of Telstra’s startup accelerator Julie Trell to discuss the ways we can actively choose to challenge stereotypes, fight bias, broaden perceptions and celebrate women’s achievements.

The global theme for International Women’s Day 2020 is #EachforEqual – this theme will be adopted for this celebration in March.

This is Women in Tourism’s sixth annual International Women’s Day lunch in Sydney and sees WiT partner with Laissez-faire Catering and the State Library of NSW to host this year’s lunch event.

All men and women working in the travel and tourism industry are invited to attend.
