First held in 1823, the Sydney Royal Easter Show is Australia’s largest annual ticketed event, attracting over 850,000 attendees each year. What’s unique about this event is that the revenue generated goes towards investing in agriculture, education, youth, and other programmes that benefit communities within New South Wales.

Attend a Colourful Easter Parade in Sydney’s Hyde Park

Held on Easter Monday, the Sydney Easter Parade & Family Day is a decades-old religious festival in Sydney which celebrates Jesus’s resurrection. Be wildly entertained by “live” music, a marching band, giant inflatables, stilt walkers, animal costumes, and much more!
Note that as this is an event for Australian Christians from all denominations, a worship session will be held prior to the parade. The themes and displays of the day will also be aligned to Christian values. However, the event welcomes participants from all religious beliefs, so do join in even if you are not a Christian.

Easter Cheer for Parramatta’s Rugby Team
