Spread the love

This Easter holiday, Rosewood Hong Kong has planned an exciting and delicious repertoire of Easter-centric activities for the whole family to enjoy. For April’s most beloved holiday, the “vertical estate on the majestic harbour” offers an enticing array of dining offers, limited edition desserts and cocktails, wellness indulgences, family activities and amenity-filled room stays – a celebration to remember.

Feasts and Fun at Holt’s Café

At Rosewood’s highly lauded Holt’s Café, a sharing menu available for lunch and dinner from 10 to 13 April beckons with hearty creations made to be enjoyed family-style. Courses range from HKD180 to HKD410 and include a selection of Iberico cold cuts boasting Lomo and acorn-fed Chorizo, seared Red Snapper fillet and Seafood Linguine, with a White Chocolate Easter Egg as a stunning finale. Easter Sunday morning proves just as delicious, with a semi-buffet brunch priced at HKD720 taking centre stage. Hungry gourmands will be sated with stations laden with seafood on ice, fresh salads, hot roasted fare, speciality dim sum and desserts for every sweet tooth. A choice of mains – seared dry-aged Beef Striploin, Spelt Risotto or Crispy Amadai – add further decadence to the experience, while free-flow Prosecco or Champagne is available for a true Sunday fun day.

The little ones will be delighted with a dedicated crafts table set up in Holt’s Café’s Tea          Conservatory Foyer from 10 am to 3pm on 10 to 13 April, where they are welcome to decorate their very own Easter eggs for a colourful holiday memento.  Additionally, restaurant patrons and in-house guests are invited to join in on the fun with an Easter egg hunt.

Gorgeous Desserts from Butterfly Patisserie

Chef Holger Deh’s talent is on full display with Butterfly Patisserie’s gleaming range of spring-inspired dessert creations. Available directly from Butterfly Patisserie as well as through its online shop, the scope of Easter-themed confections include Sakura and Calamansi Butterfly Kisses in addition to a range of chocolate Easter eggs and figurines crafted just for the occasion. Assorted pralines and travel cakes join a medley of classic meets contemporary confections.

Enchanting Afternoon Tea

The glamourous confines of The Butterfly Room will play host to a charming afternoon tea set from 10 to 13 April that draws inspiration from Easter and all things spring. Priced at HKD920 for two, the five-course experience begins on a savoury note with refined canapés such as     Parsley Sponge Cake, marinated Hamachi and Trout Roe. An “elegant surprise” paves the way for freshly baked goods – buttery Scones and Madeleines – before dessert trolleys bearing luscious desserts and confections tempt further. For an extra-special celebration, a Krug Grand Cuvée Champagne add-on for two hours is available for an additional HKD1,900.

DarkSide Finds Light

From 6 to 12 April, DarkSide draws from childhood nostalgia to deliver a speciality cocktail creation inspired by the joy of chocolate, marzipan and candied Easter eggs. By transforming the iconic Easter desserts into a drink, the team at DarkSide has fashioned the Marzipan Sour, a sensational cocktail combining Pierre Ferran 1840 Cognac, Tonka Beans, Ratafia de Champagne and Marzipan. Priced at HKD150, it is best enjoyed with sweeping city views, live music and good company.
