Element Melbourne Richmond today launches three new accommodation and meeting packages for guests as easing restrictions in Victoria see intrastate travel and overnight stays back in action.

Hot Tub and Silver Screen Package

Here is your chance to exit ‘iso’ like a rock star. Element Melbourne Richmond boasts rooms equipped with private outdoor hot tubs, in front of which sit portable screens so you can sit back, soak up, and celebrate the lifting of some of Victoria’s COVID-19 restrictions in front of your favourite classics or new releases with a friend or special someone. Movies play from an iPad loaded with all of the top streaming services for you to log in and enjoy the blockbuster of your choice; a selection of films will also be available on the iPad in case you don’t have a streaming service account.

Both of Element Melbourne Richmond’s King Balcony Rooms – which are those that feature the private hot tubs – have striking views over Melbourne’s skyline. Rates for the ‘Hot Tub and Silver Screen’ package start at $280 per night, for two people. A snack and drink pack is also available for purchase – for $50, you can enjoy a bottle of delectable Australian sparkling wine, popcorn, ice cream and chips.

The Great Family Escape Package

For families hitting the road – whether to visit relatives or simply for a change of scenery – Element Melbourne Richmond is offering a special deal: “buy one room, get one free.” Every booking made where the guests include kids aged 18 and under will receive an interconnecting room for free, allowing mum and dad a break yet peace of mind knowing their kids are nearby.

Interconnecting room types at Element Melbourne Richmond include the King Room (for mum and dad) and the Twin Room (for up to two kids). Rates start at $170 per night and a snack pack is also available for purchase for $70, including wine or beer for adults, juice for kids and sweets, chocolate, chips and ice cream for the whole family. All rooms come equipped with free Wi-Fi, Chromecast and options to stream from services including Netflix and Stan.

The Igloo Meeting Package

This is for everyone that is tired of bad Wi-Fi connections, working with distracting family or housemates or cramped quarters – Element Melbourne Richmond has converted its laneway igloos into what is perhaps Melbourne’s most unique working space! The hotel’s two outdoor, heated igloos have been transformed into office spaces, equipped with everything you need to get your work done in a relaxed way, including a cosy fire and heater for cooler days, power stations, complimentary tea and coffee-making facilities, stationery and a couch to put your feet up while you get business done. Available for hire by the half-or-full day and fitting up to four people (while keeping in line with social distancing rules, of course!), you’ll have access to free high-speed Wi-Fi and the hotel can assist with any catering needs – there’s a snack pack available for $50 including sandwiches, fresh fruit, banana bread and refreshing beverages or the team can help organise delivery from a local Richmond restaurant. The best part? A dress code of comfortable loungewear is encouraged, and your furry friend can even join you for a cuddle during break time – the igloos are pet-friendly! Rates start at $100 for half a day (five hours, for which the timing is flexible) or $150 for the full day (10 hours, between 8am – 6.00pm).
