Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Australia’s most awarded luxury boutique hotel brand, Emporium Hotel South Bank has revealed a range of exclusive packages and romantic delights for those wanting to surprise and enchant that special someone during this year’s month of love.  From indulgent in-suite inclusions, to bespoke handmade delicacies, the hotel is Brisbane’s premier destination for passionate luxury in February.

For those ready to be whisked away for an evening of unrivalled opulence, the hotel has put together a special Romance Package.  For only $150 on top of the accommodation suite rate, couples will be indulged with a romantic rose petal turn-down in their sumptuously appointed suite; breakfast for two at the hotel’s stunning rooftop venue The Terrace, with sweeping views across the city; a 1pm late check out; and complimentary valet parking.

Alternatively, those looking for a romantic dinner, can enjoy an exquisite four-course Valentine’s Day signature dining experience at the hotel’s soon-to-be unveiled destination restaurant.   On Thursday 14th February, for one night only, the hotel will open the doors to its stunning, intimate restaurant, inviting guests to enjoy a sneak preview of the beautiful space whilst enjoying a four-course meal, specially designed by Executive Chef Chris Norman.  With each sensational course carefully paired with a delectable wine, and romantic ambience complete with live pianist, there is no better backdrop for romance this Valentine’s Day.

The specially created Valentine’s menu is priced at $150 per person and includes: Eugowra quail, with pumpkin, pancetta and hazelnut; freshwater marron, with spanner crab tortellini, cauliflower puree and asparagus; a choice of roast fillet of Black Angus beef, served with glazed shallots, spinach, sautéed mushrooms and a shiraz jus, or pan fried fillet of John Dory, with zucchini, fennel, parmesan gnocchi, tomato and saffron tea; and chocolate caramel passion, with Valrhona itakuju chocolate mousse, passionfruit cremeaux, salted caramel and hazelnut.

Completing the hotel’s special Valentine’s offering, a range of delicious Valentine’s treats are available to order from French-style patisserie, Belle Époque, perfect for those opting for a romantic night at home.   Executive pastry chef Alex Liddel has lovingly created a series take home treats, including: adorable personalisedEmporium Valentine’s Bears* ($35.00), filled with chocolate truffles; the Chocolate Lover ($9.00) with chocolate brownie base, dark chocolate cream, Valrhona Jivara milk and chocolate mousse, and the Strawberry Kiss ($8.00), with strawberry mousse, champagne jelly, soft white chocolate and sponge.
