The Garden Social will kick off the New Year with fabulous food options and refreshing summer drinks in the Tarpeian Precinct of the Domain near the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney.

Situated between Sydney’s most iconic landmarks and with views of the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge, The Garden Social is a bespoke food and live music event running until February 2021.

Treasurer Dominic Perrottet said the nearly month-long schedule offers Sydneysiders and visitors an opportunity to experience Sydney at its best.

“With summer and daylight-saving in full swing, this festival is a great way experience what our city is renowned for: exceptional food, drinks, entertainment and the outdoors.

“What better way to kick off 2021 than to eat, drink and laugh with friends in one of our city’s most beautiful open air venues, in a COVID-safe way,” he said.

The stunning outdoor location caters to people looking for a drink after work with colleagues, friends meeting before a dinner reservation or families wanting an outdoor venue to make new memories together.

“The Garden Social is a chance to come together with friends and family in an outdoor, COVID-safe space designed specifically to reduce crowding in a lively atmosphere with great food, drinks and live music within reach of the Sydney CBD,” said Denise Ora, Chief Executive of the Botanic Gardens Greater Sydney.

Along with a full bar, the Fever-Tree Ultimate Gin & Tonic Bar will serve refreshing GnT’s with an opportunity to learn more about different botanicals, then mix, match and experiment with Fever-Tree mixers to find your ideal combination.

Sit back, relax and enjoy Jazz, Classical and Contemporary music with talented musicians from around Sydney and the nearby Conservatorium of Music.
