The Star Alliance member EVA Air earned the No. 8 position in the World’s Top-20 Airlines 2020. In its roundup of the “20 Top Airlines in the World for 2020,” AirlineRatings said, “EVA Air has always been the leader in Taiwanese aviation and always at the forefront of cabin innovation such as premium economy in 1992.”
AirlineRatings.com regularly monitors and evaluates more than 400 airlines and assesses them with a seven-star rating system, based on analyses of comfort, innovation, value and safety across first, business, premium economy and economy class products and services. It also examines each airline’s safety rating, fleet age, operating profit and additional criteria. To be rated among the world’s top-20, the airlines must achieve the seven-star safety rating and demonstrate leadership in innovation for passenger comfort.
