Silversea Cruises is pleased to announce the introduction of a new, limited edition, Australian spa treatment, which will be available in the exclusive Zagara Spa aboard Silver Muse.  In celebration of Silver Muse’s inaugural sailing to the region, the special treatment, Jindilli Massage, will be available on board between January and February 2019.

The new Jindilli (a Southern Queensland indigenous term for macadamia) Massage concentrates on the home-grown, medicinal properties of macadamia and eucalyptus oils, which are native to Australia and sourced from the Glass House Mountain region.  The full-body massage has been designed with complete relaxation in mind.  Guests will unwind and release harboured stress as they breathe in the essence of eucalyptus, known for its soothing properties.  This flowering tree from eucalypt forests is blended with macadamia oil to soothe aching muscles and remedy tension build up.

The Zagara Spa by Silversea is a sanctuary of pure bliss, offering guests a variety of relaxing treatments and facilities.  Whilst in the Spa, guests can enjoy sweeping sea views through floor-to-ceiling windows, nine treatment rooms, an acupuncture suite, relaxation areas and a dedicated outdoor whirlpool.  Invigorating therapies include facials, body wraps and massages.  In addition, men’s and women’s saunas and steam rooms offer guests the perfect place to relax, either before a spa treatment or after a workout.

“For the maiden call of our ultra-luxurious flagship in Australia, we have designed a truly indulgent massage with our OneSpaWorld partner, inspired by local produce and regional traditions,” says Alessandra Rossi Derubeis, Silversea’s Vice President of On-board Revenue Management. “Using eucalyptus and macadamia oils enables our guests to fully unwind and benefit from the medicinal qualities of typical Australian produce, evoking the essence of the destination.”
