The Langham, Hong Kong is getting ready to welcome the most magical time of the year through “Christmas in London” festivities, celebrating the brand’s origin from London since 1865.The festive fantasy debuts on 1 December until the New Year when the public areas of the hotel turn into photogenic Christmas street scenes in London, with an array of sweet and savoury festive specialities on offer in all dining outlets.

Begin the festive journey with the iconic Regent Street at the hotel’s main entrance to enter the hotel lobby where an illuminated Christmas tree with glittering pink ornaments is taking the centre stage, complemented by lamp posts, food cart and poinsettia. Explore around to locate the instagrammable photo spots – the pink telephone box, pink post box and a cosy living room with armchairs and fireplace. Guests are invited to join the social media contest by uploading photos taken in the hotel on their Instagram with hashtags #LanghamChristmas and #CelebrateTheEveryday throughout December. The winner of the most Christmassy photo will get a grand prize of a 3-night luxurious stay at The Langham, London, the legendary flagship of the brand.

Stop by the lobby in the evenings of 24 and 25 December at 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. to enjoy traditional holiday ballads with modern renditions by Christmas carollers. Santa Claus makes an appearance spreading Christmas cheer on 24 – 26 December 2019 at 12:30 – 2:30 p.m. and 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.

Unveil the festive delight with the “Christmas in London” Afternoon Tea, elegantly presented in a 3-tier white leather box. Executive Pastry Chef David Puig introduces a range of bite-sized Christmas sweet treats, including the heart-warming holiday-themed trio: Red Santa’s Hat made of raspberry chocolate, strawberry jelly and marshmallow, the Golden Reindeer Gianduiotto made of Gianduja mousse, sacher cake and chocolate sable, and the Snowman made of coconut mousse, passion fruit curd and white chocolate. Other sweet temptations include Coming to Town, a gingerbread macaron with caramel and mascarpone filling, and the traditional British Christmas Cake with glazed fruit.

The tea set also features a selection of savoury bites such as Lobster Tartelette with cauliflower purée and yuzu gel, Duck Foie Gras Dome on brioche bread, Beef Ragout Pie and Scottish Salmon and Cucumber Sandwich, as well as the homemade plain and raisin scones served with Devonshire clotted cream, strawberry jam and rose preserve. To uplift the festive mood, top up for the 2-hour free-flow Prosecco and mulled wine with an additional HK$100 per guest.

Enliven your holiday spirit with an exquisite four-course wine-pairing dinner in an intimate and stylish setting. Begin the feast with the signature Seafood Tower, Classic Siberian Caviar with Balik Salmon and Pan-roasted Duck Foie Gras. Bostonian is extending the acclaimed 4-hour Perrier-Jouët bubbly brunch buffet on 25 and 26 December. Apart from the Seafood Tower, Caviar and Cool Bar, cheese and bread spread, live Caesar salad station with Spanish ham on the bone, a range of pass around delicacies such as Gratinated Scallop in the Shell, Pan-fried duck liver marinated in spiced wine, Slow-roasted Australian wagyu Beef, Seafood Paella will be served to the table. Choose between the Traditional Turkey Roulade or Oven-Roasted Black Cod Fillet as the main course.
