The FWC will issue orders today suspending MUA action at VICT. The union had planned action including full shift 12 and 24 hour stoppages over Sunday and Monday, and a range of other bans.
VICT sought FWC intervention citing economic and other harm threatened by the action. A hearing will be timetabled for mid-March and no MUA industrial action will proceed in the meantime. The orders will take effect from 6.00 am Saturday 20 February.
