Get ready for a fun, flavourful week in Hua Hin, filled with good food and great entertainment, as the beautiful city, together with Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Hua Hin, prepares to welcome the highly-anticipated Hua Hin Food Festival 2019 come August.

From August, Friday 30 to September, Sunday 1, 2019, Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Hua Hin, together with Hua Hin Municipality and Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), invites all food connoisseurs to visit Hua Hin Food Festival 2019, to be held at the city’s 19 Rai Queen Sirikit Park. In this fantastic seaside setting, locals and travelers can look forward to a fun-filled weekend where you will enjoy a flavourful mix of Hua Hin’s tastiest food from over 50 renowned food sellers, serving up everything from tasty street bites to the top hotels and their chefs proudly showing off their best menus.

Highlight of this year’s event includes the arrival of famed artisan breads from a renowned French bakery, Maison Jean Philippe, delivering the centuries-old heritage of artisan bread to your table at Centara’s Booth number 4.

A true artisan bakery with an old French inspired flair, Jean Philippe is passionate about making some of the best breads with the great principle of applying traditional French savoir-faire to high-quality seasonal produce. All breads from Maison Jean Philippe are made in-house using only four basic ingredients from the finest source; from unbleached flour, wild yeast, water and salt, with the bakery’s signature fermentation method.

Handcrafted by a talented and passionate team, some must-try specialities from the freshly-baked breads include Multigrain Bread packed with good-for-your-health whole grains with just a touch of sweetness, Savoyard Bread sprinkled with white sesame for extra taste and texture, and a tender loaf Champagne Bread boasting a slight hint of sweetness from the surprising ingredients of champagne. For those craving a more traditional taste, try an artisan bread classic, French baguettes, that are crusty and beautifully colored on the outside, buttery soft and chewy on the inside; or a beautiful loaf of Dark Rye with a nice crust and hearty, malty flavour.

Further complimenting Maison Jean Philippe’s variety of baked goods is a selection of homemade jams from The Museum. Made from plump and juicy fruit for a just-picked flavour, the scrumptious sweet-and-sour fruity spreads are perfect for everything from breakfast to dessert.

Get your palate tempted like never before at Hua Hin Food Festival 2019 where you will enjoy local entertainments and activities whilst feasting on an enormous variety of food from the area’s most famous restaurants and hotels. Spectacular performances from local bands and a host of many other activities such as cooking contests and ginormous food-cooking shows will also keep you and your family entertained whilst meandering through the park and soaking up the festive atmosphere.
