In an exclusive first, W Brisbane will be making a splash as it transforms its level four riverside oasis – WET Deck, into a floating cinema, inviting guests to literally Float In and catch their favourite flick on the big screen.

Continuing to curate unrivalled experiences for hotels guests and locals alike, W Brisbane is teaming up with Openair Cinemas to program five weeks of popular movies as part of the ‘Float In Cinema’ series. Launching with Baywatch (The Movie) on Tuesday 25 February, the full programming schedule each Tuesday evening features movies with iconic water scenes to match WET Deck’s aquatic surrounds.

WET Deck, Brisbane’s ultimate luxe playground, invites you to embrace that Queensland sunshine state of mind as the swimwear clad W Brisbane team float you on your ultra-comfy inflatable pool recliner lounge into prime in-pool position. Enjoy a flirty fusion of cocktails nestled into built-in cocktail holders, tasty cinema treats and an eclectic design backdrop, with orders taken poolside and delivered via floating trays.

At the heart of W Brisbane’s social scene, WET Deck is open pre and post flick with a full dinner and drinks menu. The riverside terrace provides a prime viewing platform to soak in the stellar Queensland sunset over the Brissy River, before you take your floating recliner in the pool for this special screening experience.
