Ahead of the upcoming spring season, Gaylord Hotels is excited to invite guests to Spring It On at the Gaylord Texan in Texas, Gaylord Rockies in Colorado, Gaylord Palms in Florida, and Gaylord Opryland in Tennessee. Beginning March 12 and running through May 16, 2021, guests are welcome to craft the perfect spring break getaway and cool off with thrilling aquatic attractions, join in on spring themed family programming that will include original interactive events, discover all-new magical Once Upon a Spring experiences, enjoy a special Easter EGGstravaganza, and much more.

Springtime in the Water

With the return of spring, Gaylord Hotels welcomes guests with all-new and signature water park and pool play experiences. On March 1, Gaylord Palms opens its newest extension to Cypress Springs Water Park – Crystal River Rapids, a thrilling new action river attraction that will twist and turn guests through speeding currents at three-and-a-half feet per second as they race past roaring waterfalls, crumbling limestone walls and larger-than-life leaves. Guests can take in the stunning views of Cypress Springs Water Park from the river’s alcove, cabanas, spas or variety of premium pool seating, while also enjoying seasonal activities including the Springtime Pool Party with games, sing-a-longs, prizes and more.

Gaylord Texan invites guests to enjoy the newly renovated outdoor pool and hot tub at Paradise Springs, with an expanded pool deck to allow for more space and social distancing. The pool bar, lounge seating and overall atmosphere have been newly designed to enhance the guest experience. Similarly, Gaylord Rockies invites families to splash and swim at Arapahoe Springs, the resort’s water complex featuring indoor and outdoor pools, three waterslides and a 720-foot-long lazy river that opens March 12. At Gaylord Opryland, guests can couple their springtime fun with an escape to the resort’s upscale modern oasis, SoundWaves, featuring thrilling water slides, lazy and rapids rivers, a FlowRider® Double and more.

Once Upon a Spring at Gaylord Hotels

Gaylord Hotels is pleased to present its inaugural Once Upon a Spring programming, bringing live fairytale shows, magical games, artful activities and more to the four resorts. At each resort, kids will fall in love with “Paint Me A Fairytale, an interactive live storytelling adventure where Mother Goose paints to life beloved storybook favorites, including Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and The Beanstalk and The Princess and The Pea.

Little ones can flex their culinary skills at Gaylord Opryland, Gaylord Rockies, Gaylord Palms, and Gaylord Texan with each resort’s Cookie Decorating activity, where they can decorate and eat their own spring inspired creations. Gaylord Rockies and Gaylord Texan also encourage guests to challenge their minds with spring-themed escape rooms, including the Mad Tea Escape Room at Gaylord Rockies where guests are invited via an anonymous letter to a never-ending tea full of riddles.

 At Gaylord Palms, guests and families will be treated to a rousing Springtime Light Display in the resort’s atrium skies as giant LED light curtains vividly displaying flowers blooming, bunny rabbits scurrying, shooting stars and spring-colored kaleidoscopes.

Gaylord Opryland invites guests to a scenic Spring Riverboat Ride inside its 4.5-acre Delta atrium, as well as the General Jackson Showboat for a lunch or dinner show, both including a live Broadway-style stage performance.

Across the resorts, guests can also partake in scavenger hunts, painting and art studios, a spring-themed Wildlife Rescue augmented reality experience, Mother’s Day Brunch, and other exciting fun waiting around every corner.

Easter Fun

Running March 12 through Easter Sunday on April 4, Gaylord Hotels will present magical Easter-themed experiences for families to craft a memorable holiday celebration. Gaylord Texan and Gaylord Rockies will present Easter EGGstravaganza with a socially distanced Easter Bunny Meet & GreetBrunch with the Easter Bunny, and a game of Hop-and-Go-Seek during an Easter Bunny Scavenger Hunt.

As part of its Once Upon a Spring programming, Gaylord Palms will present an Eggspression Garden, an imaginative walkthrough experience featuring blossoming tulips, gigantic Easter eggs, a massive chocolate bunny and five additional spring-themed photo opportunities. On select dates through April 4, families can also enjoy a special Mr. & Mrs. Easter Bunny Character Breakfast in the newly renovated Villa de Flora.

At Gaylord Opryland, a special Delta Boat EGG-stra Fun experience will offer a themed indoor cruise that will represent a departure from your traditional egg hunt. Kids are also invited to move, shake, dance and celebrate the season at a socially distanced Hop-Along Dance Party.

Spring Packages

All four resorts are offering special seasonal packages for a spring break getaway or spring staycation, including Gaylord Opryland’s Spring Into Fun Getaway Package with rates starting at $259 for a family of four, Gaylord Rockies’ Spring It On package starting at $219 per night, and Gaylord Palms’ Spring Into Fun Package with rates from $199.
