This fall, Gaylord Hotels invites guests to experience a memorable family vacation by enjoying its Goblins & Giggles celebration at Gaylord Rockies in Colorado, Gaylord Palms in Florida, Gaylord Opryland in Tennessee and Gaylord Texan in Texas. Occurring weekends through October 31, 2020, Goblins & Giggles brings the magic of Halloween to life for kids and adults alike.
Goblins & Giggles offers a wide array of family-friendly Halloween-themed activities and events for visitors to discover. At each resort, daily activities include a challenging Hide and Seek Scavenger Hunt featuring puzzles and clues to find Spookley the Square Pumpkin among eight Spooktacular hiding spots. Visitors can also discover the Jack-O-Lantern Walk, an imaginative experience featuring dozens of intricately carved, illuminated designs. Adults can also sidle up to each resort’s themed SpookEasy, the most haunted spirits spot featuring spine-chilling craft cocktails and terrifying, ghostly artwork. Each resort also offers a weekend Trick-or-Treat Expedition with stops along the way for some deliciously spooky treats.

Gaylord Rockies
Visitors are invited to spend weekend evenings at Movies Under the Moon, enjoying family-friendly films outside on the big screen in a socially distanced manner. Ghost Stories is an interactive experience based on real, local stories where guests become part of the tale. Kids can have a socially distanced meet-and-greet with Spookley for a fun and memorable photo op.
Gaylord Palms
Among the resort’s activities is the brand-new Castillo de San Marcos ALIVE! Ghost Experience featuring live storytellers who recount real-life ghost stories as guests explore the fort’s stone walls and encounter the spirits who remain trapped within. Guests can also catch the Phantom of the Atrium Light Display, a haunting masterpiece filled with mystery, mischief and, of course, magic in the St. Augustine atrium sky. Gaylord Opryland
The sprawling Nashville resort invites guests to marvel at its Delta Fountain Shows featuring stunning choreographed water, music and lights, as well as enjoy Spooky Animal Encounters to interact with and learn about a variety of incredible creatures. Adults can also partake in Color Between the Wines and unwind with colored pencils, coloring pages and wines from Jackson Wine Estates.
Gaylord Texan
Those seeking a challenging experience can step into a Halloween-themed Escape Room and race against the clock to unlock clues and solve a puzzle before time runs out. Canvas and Pumpkin Decorating allows guests’ inner artist to come to life while creating a fall-themed masterpiece. Ghost Stories LIVE! Will uncover the haunted history of Texas in an interactive experience allowing the audience to become part of the story.
Additionally, with each resort’s signature water parks and attractions open, guests are encouraged to enjoy a dose of aquatic fun with Halloween twists. At Gaylord Palms, families can hang poolside at Cypress Springs Water Park with Halloween host with the most Jack O’ Lantern while guests at Gaylord Rockies will find Vladimir the Vampire at Arapahoe Springs for some Wicked Awesome Pool Fun in the sun. Gaylord Opryland invites guests to enjoy SoundWaves, the resort’s indoor/outdoor upscale water experience.
In celebration of Goblins & Giggles, each resort is offering a special family package, with starting rates ranging from $179 to $259 per night. The package includes a one-night stay, Hide and Seek Scavenger Hunt booklets and additional property-specific amenities such as s’mores kits at Gaylord Rockies or passes for a ride on Gaylord Opryland’s Delta River flatboat.
