The Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) — the voice of the global business travel industry – honoured Gehan Colliander, as the recipient of the prestigious Luoma Award at the GBTA Conference 2019 in Munich.

The GBTA Luoma Award was established in 2011 in honour of Jutta Luoma, the retired Executive Director of the Finnish Business Travel Association who supported the creation of a European, buyer-led association. The award reflects the attributes of Luoma, recognising a volunteer who supports the development of GBTA and its local market partners in Europe and who works in the best interests of GBTA Europe’s members and the business travel industry.

Mark Cuschieri, Executive Director for Global Travel at UBS and European Advisory Board Chair presented the award during the Arena lunch at GBTA Conference 2019 in Munich.

“Gehan is a worthy winner of this award, having been a long-standing member of the Aviation Committee and Chair of the Europe Advisory Board. Gehan has selflessly shared her knowledge and expertise numerous times at GBTA conferences in Europe as well as with her peers as part of the Strategic Benchmarking Group. She is without question, world class in her field,” commented Mark Cuscheri, European Advisory Board Chair.
