The Sydney Opera House will host a range of fitness classes with a breathtaking view this March and April, offering Sydneysiders and visitors the chance to experience their Opera House in a new way and rediscover the city.

Get Active at the House is a four-week fitness series that will include early morning and evening classes of high intensity interval training (HIIT), yoga and Pilates on the Eastern Podium at the top of the spectacular Monumental Steps, and on the Northern Broadwalk with sweeping views of the harbour.

Led by a team of expert Virgin Active coaches, the series will kick off on Tuesday 9 March, running until Thursday 1 April. Classes are suitable for all fitness levels and will run daily at 7am with additional evening classes at 6pm on selected evenings. The full schedule is available to view here. On Saturdays, special 60-minute classes will blend HIIT, yoga and Pilates together for a unique, full body workout, while yoga enthusiasts will have the option of a longer 75-minute practice on Sundays.
