Lodges in Beautiful Alpine Scenery
The two holiday homes of Summit Lodges in Pfunds in Tyrol were built in 2018 and modeled on American and Canadian log cabins. The property is located in a quiet residential area and borders a mountain stream. The large garden with the breathtaking mountains in the background invites you to relax and enjoy a barbecue. The whole village is dedicated to low-impact tourism, which is also noticeable in the surrounding alpine pastures and huts. The Summit Lodges are the ideal starting point for shorter hikes or extended trekking tours. At the end of an eventful day, guests can relax in their own private sauna. Marco Spiss, owner of the Summit Lodges recommends a trip to the medieval customs post. The Altfinstermünz fortress is easily accessible by bike or on foot from the lodges. The hiking trail meanders along the Inn River through green flower meadows to the fortress. Another recommended highlight is the Pfundser Tschey and is one of the most beautiful high valleys in Austria. The Platzertal mine from the 15th century, located in a side valley of the Pfundser Tschey, is also worth a visit.
