These products are designed to save PGA professionals time and effort, and help them deliver an enhanced playing experience and an exceptional level of service to their golfers.”

The company’s flagship product, Golf Genius TMS, is the most widely used tournament management system available today. Combining the best aspects of the traditional golf experience with innovative cloud-based and mobile technology, Golf Genius TMS offers features including customisable event websites, online registration and payments, a full library of tournament formats, live scoring, TV leaderboards, printed materials, automated email and text messaging, and integration with popular club systems.

Eric Lynge, AGIF’s Chief Executive Officer, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Golf Genius as a Full Business Member of the Federation and look forward to their participation in many of our educational events around the region.”

In total, Golf Genius powers tournament management at more than 8,000 private clubs, public courses, resorts, and golf associations, including thousands of clubs and virtually every state and regional golf association in the United States who use USGA Tournament Management powered by Golf Genius.

From January 2020, all SGA tournaments will also be powered through Golf Genius’ tournament management software. With the link-up, the SGA aims to deliver an enhanced tournament experience, including smoother entry processes through to live scoring on mobile devices and live leaderboards.

Spectators and off-site viewers will be able to see real-time scoring for players in events, improving the connection from players to online viewers.

In addition to becoming the SGA’s preferred tournament management software solution, Golf Genius will look to help clubs in Singapore drive increased participation via enhanced golf events and a range of bespoke player engagement solutions.

The SGA and Golf Genius have also agreed to collaborate with the suppliers of the CHS, Singapore’s handicap network, to instantly request daily handicaps and post scores with the click of a button, increasing the efficiency of golf clubs under the new World Handicapping System, set to launch in Singapore in 2020.
