Good Food Month presented by Citi returns to Melbourne in June with several incredible feature events, consisting of exclusive dinner experiences and tantalising lunches held at this year’sGood Food Month Restaurant at Canvas House, South Melbourne. The diverse and inspiring program once again welcomes one of the world’s biggest culinary legends, Marco Pierre White, alongside Australia’s hottest homegrown talent including Andrew McConnell, Phil Wood, Matt Stone, Paul Iskov and Joel Valvasori-Pereza. Tickets are on sale now at www.goodfoodmonth.com/melbourne

This year, Good Food Month has chosen one of Melbourne’s most exciting spaces as the new home for its series of unique feature events. A spectacular warehouse space in South Melbourne, Canvas House, will play host to an exciting program of dinners with Marco Pierre White, including a collaboration with Phil Wood of Pt Leo Estate and Laura (Good Food Guide’s New Restaurant of the Year), pasta showcase with Andreas Papadakis (Tipo 00) and Joel Valvasori (Lulu La Delizia), Young Chefs Dinner with the young guns of Australia’s top kitchens and a very special Sunday Roast. Following the success of the Sydney, Canberra and Perth events, Marco Pierre White will return to Australia to celebrate Melbourne Good Food Month. Marco will be hosting a number of special events, launching with a stunning dinner featuring Phil Wood (Pt Leo Estate and Laura, Mornington Peninsula) who will take on Marco’s classics and create them as his own. Tickets include four courses with matching wines and beer supplied by James Squire.

A cosy winter evening featuring food from two of Marco’s favourite Australian restaurants. Enjoy relaxed conversation with Marco Pierre White while sharing amazing pasta dishes by Andreas Papadakis (Tipo 00, Melbourne) and Joel Valvasori-Pereza (Lulu La Delizia, Perth). Tickets include four courses with matching wines and beer supplied by James Squire.

The New Vanguard | Friday, 7 June 6.30pm | $170

Chefs Matt Stone (Oakridge, Yarra Valley) and Paul Iskov (Fervor, Perth) are part of the new chef vanguard putting hyper-local, sustainably sourced produce on the menu. At just 22, Stone was approached by designer and Greenhouse Perth owner Joost Bakker to join his team as head chef. Here, Stone embraced Joost’s philosophies of preparing fresh, sustainable, locally-sourced, whole-foods, and made a name for himself as a serious innovator and progressive chef. At Fervor, Iskov harnesses locally sourced native produce and shares it with diners at unique locations across WA, including salt lakes, beautiful bush land and pristine beaches. Young Chefs Lunch with Marco Pierre White presented by Citi | Saturday, 8 June I 1.30pm | $230

Mentored by the master himself Marco Pierre White, Melbourne’s next generation of culinary superstars present an extraordinary lunch. The Young Chefs Lunch showcases the impressive skills of the young guns of the country’s top kitchens, with a three-course lunch with matched wines in the chic surrounds of Good Food Month’s Restaurant at Canvas House. Tickets include three courses with matching wines and beer supplied by James Squire.

Sunday Best with Marco Pierre White and Andrew McConnell | Sunday, 9 June 1.30pm | $270

What better way to spend a winter Sunday afternoon than by a fire with friends, amazing wines and a traditional Sunday roast. Marco Pierre White is joined by one of Melbourne’s greatest, Andrew McConnell, and together they’re going to elevate the Sunday Roast in the way only these two super chefs can. Melbournians are invited to make new memories over a contemporary take on the family-style roast with matching wines and beer supplied by James Squire.
