Spread the love

With the world a very strange place these days as we all know, it appears that not only people are stranded overseas, but these two gorgeous, but very sad looking schnauzers are stuck in Singapore and missing their Mum and Dad very much indeed.

Trevor, Dad of these lovely schnauzers told me that he is in his 70s and retired with limited funds and he and his wife have been working in Phnom Penh helping stamp out the abhorrent dog meat trade and boarding dogs.

With passenger flights as we all know pretty well non-existent, the very few prices owner Trevor Shelley and his wife have been given are astronomic.

He said that an amazing over $1,700 has been raised through Go Fund Me to help with getting their babies back, but this article is not really about the Go Fund Me campaign – for the Go Fund campaign me click HERE: with all donations gratefully accepted, but it is about flights on freight or passenger aircraft

These gorgeous dogs have been cooped up in quarantine in Malaysia since January 6, but are now in Singapore and Trevor and his wife say they have now conquered most of the hurdles put in their way and today the dogs are released from quarantine in Singapore and will stay with families and should be OK to travel early to mid-May.

Trevor told me that the Dept of Agriculture in Melbourne is fully aware of the situation and have agreed and offered to access them into quarantine there.

Corona has certainly curtailed international flights, but Trevor says there are plenty of freighters and the odd BA and SA flights.

So, can any of you wonderful people help get these two gorgeous dogs back to Australia to Melbourne, on a freighter or passenger aircraft in the animal hold, either yourselves or through your contacts with airlines either passenger or freight?

Please contact me at john@celticasolutions.com if you can help – no idea is crazy!

Come on guys we can do this!
