A driving holiday along the Coral Coast is the perfect way to experience the best of Western Australia, now made easier with the regional tourism organisation, Australia’s Coral Coast, launching its 2019 holiday planning guide. Available in both physical and digital formats, the comprehensive travel resource focuses on providing insider tips, road trip and fly-drive itineraries, seasonal experiences and essential travel information.

Australia’s Coral Coast region starts two hours north of Western Australia’s capital city, Perth, and stretches along 1,100km of breathtaking coastline to the Ningaloo Reef.

Suzanne Fisher, Marketing and Public Relations Manager of Australia’s Coral Coast, said that ‘the holiday planning guide is a go-to document for any traveller heading to Western Australia; the information is relevant for first-time travellers and frequent visitors.’ The guide offers invaluable information relating to transport options, tour operators, and accommodation, as well as providing information such as the best time of year to visit certain attractions and locations like Hutt Lagoon, the Pink Lake.

This year’s guide gives major focus to the Coral Coast’s Wildflower Country, with 2018 one of the most impressive wildflower seasons in recent history.

Full of colourful and inspirational imagery, the guide includes many images sourced from Instagram and Facebook users who have tagged @AustraliasCoralCoast in their travel snaps. The front cover image, a stunning panoramic shot of Shark Bay’s Francois Peron National Park, was sourced from digital bohemian Instagrammer, @GypsyLovin’Light.

The travel planning guide is available at australiascoralcoast.com/travel-guides, where it can be viewed online and/or downloaded. A hard copy can be requested through the website and will be mailed out (please note that there is a delay on international requests until March). The physical guide has been distributed to agencies, tour operators and visitor centres nationally and internationally. The guide will also be provided to travel trade for education, itinerary assistance and product contracting.
