Seashells Mandurah has teamed up with talented Mandurah-based Pilates practitioner Meagan Cox from Evolve Studio and the result is a series of 20-minute Pilates sessions designed to do in your holiday apartment or at home.
Meagan filmed each session on site at Seashells Mandurah and guests can access the one-one-one classes free of charge.
Seashells Mandurah General Manager Ben Colbert said the initiative provided guests with the opportunity to try Pilates for the first time, or to keep up their strength and fitness routine during their holidays.
“We’ve had a great response from guests since launching Evolve Studio’s classes online and the fact that they have been filmed at the property with our stunning ocean views as the backdrop is like having a personal training session with Meagan.
“It’s been a terrific opportunity to partner with a talented and like-minded local business owner and add value to our guest experience,” he said.
Meagan said the idea for an online Pilates program was born from the initial COVID-19 lockdown when she began online teaching but grew into something bigger when she found how popular it was with clients.
“The online training really suited a wide variety of clients so I decided to focus part of our business online for the longer term. It suits people who are now working from home or can’t make it into studio due to life being busy.
“The 20-minute sessions are achievable to fit in around your day and you can really feel a change in a very short space in time. You will feel more energised, improve your posture, lengthen and lean plus feel more relaxed.
“I’m so pleased that Seashells Mandurah guests can now experience this as well. There’s no equipment required and plenty of space in the apartments to throw down a towel or yoga mat and take 20 minutes to relax, stretch and build strength.
“We’re about to film a third series at Seashells Mandurah for guests and hope to have these available in coming weeks.”
