Hawai‘i Tourism Oceania (HTO) will be sharing the spirit of Aloha for the eighth year running at The Asia Pacific Incentives Meetings Event (AIME) 2019 with seven key partners attending from The Hawaiian Islands.

Ahead of an exciting year for HTO, the Sydney based team will be travelling to Melbourne for AIME 2019, bringing with them their largest contingent of partners including O‘ahu Visitors Bureau, Maui Visitors Bureau, The Kāhala Hotel & Resort, The Ritz-Carlton Residences Waikīkī Beach, Hilton Hawaiian Village, Maverick Helicopters Hawai‘i and the Hawaii Convention Center.

Giselle Radulovic, Country Manager Australia for HTO, said AIME is one of the team’s key annual events to showcase Hawai‘i as a destination for memorable events.

“Business events is a key focus for both Hawaii Tourism Oceania and the Hawaii Tourism Authority globally. On average, Australians who travel to Hawaii for conferences and events spend more than their leisure counterparts. We are always looking for opportunities to demonstrate Hawaii’s suitability to host meetings, conferences and incentives,” Ms Radulovic said.

While MCI numbers remained stable for HTO in 2018, the meetings and incentives market remains an integral component of Hawai‘i’s visitor strategy.

Kritsada Phadungkiatipong is HTO’s MCI & Trade Relationships Manager, working with Australian based conference and event managers to help them plan their meeting, event or incentive in Hawai‘i.

“Hawai‘i has great options for team building and partner programs unlike any other destination. We can help you develop an itinerary that includes cultural experiences, along with beach and outdoor activities that are uniquely Hawaiian,” Mr Phadungkiatipong said.
