Hawaiian Airlines has started the New Year with a new Regional Director Australia and New Zealand.

Hawaiian Airlines’ new Regional Director Australia and New Zealand, Andrew Stanbury, received a warm welcome from his Australia and New Zealand teams at his first formal planning session in Sydney.

Stanbury who commenced on 02 January will be responsible for leading Hawaiian’s growing commercial activities in both countries and brings to Hawaiian diverse international knowledge and experience.

“Hawaiian Airlines’ has an excellent team in the region,” Mr Stanbury said.

“I am excited to be working with them on building Hawaiian Airlines’ success into the future. I am also particularly looking forward to connecting with our industry partners to explore mutual opportunities for growth.”

Stanbury was most recently Executive General Manager for Global Sales at Fiji Airways for the past three years, and earlier Regional General Manager Australia from 2012. He also spent eight years with Air New Zealand in various management roles, including leading the sales organisation in Australia.
