APT has been revealing the secrets of the Kimberley and Outback Australia to its guests for almost 60 years, bringing luxury travel to these incredible remote Australian regions.

As the discussion around the reopening of our internal borders continues to tantalize all travellers at this time, APT is delighted to announce it is releasing a selection of 2021 Outback and Kimberley itineraries at 2020 prices. This means your clients can now book to explore our own backyard in 2021 and pay the same price as 2020.

From 4WD small group journeys around Australia, including the Kimberley and Cape York, to small ship expedition cruising off the remote Coral Coast and Kimberley Coast, popular APT itineraries are now available to book for 2021 at a limited release price for all bookings taken up to the 30 June 2020.

“Our Outback and Kimberley wilderness adventure itineraries have always been so important to our business, and close to our hearts since we started taking travellers there in the 1960s,” said Chris Hall, APT’s Managing Director.

“We know travellers are going to be even more excited and interested in exploring our own backyard, and we are so proud we have the expertise to offer these unforgettable experiences to guests – at a time when we all need to have that future travel plan in our minds more than ever before.” He added.

APT has been leading the way in touring to the Kimberley for a significant time, offering tours that have minimal impact on the natural environment and being the only major tour operator to have Advanced Eco-Certification in the Kimberley. APT also partners with the Wunan Foundation, a community based initiative that represents the Indigenous communities in the East Kimberley. For over 15 years APT has been working with Wunan to deliver their touring program, assist with financial investment in the region including a network of owned wilderness eco lodges as well as through employment opportunities for local Indigenous people.

APT’s network of wilderness lodges are a unique offering and key highlight when visiting this area. Offering guests unparalleled accommodation in luxury tented cabins with the comforts of home in remote locations, all with spacious ensuites, hot showers and a private deck. The three lodges located in Mitchell Falls, Bell Gorge and Bungle Bungle are strategically positioned to maximise experiences so guests spend less time driving the vast land and more time exploring.

Spotlight on the always popular is the 15-day Kimberley Complete tour:

The tour takes guests on an epic 4WD adventure across the northerly part of Western Australia travelling in a small group of no more than 22 people. Stay at the five star Cable Beach Club Resort and Spa before setting off to explore the Gibb River Road, Bell Gorge, Drysdale River Station, Mitchell Plateau, Home Valley Station, El Questro Wilderness Park, Ord River, Lake Kununurra, the Bungle Bungle and Fitzroy Crossing before returning to Broome.
