Hilton Surfers Paradise Hotel & Residences unveils the next stage of the $9million upgrade with a transformed arrival experience including a new lobby, the opening of Ms Margot’s Bar & Eats and the launch of The Real Human Anatomy Exhibition.Stepping inside the transformed lobby guests will find a relaxed, coastal oasis that embodies
the Gold Coast, with spaces designed to linger and enjoy, including the brand new Ms Margot’s Bar & Eats, perfectly curated for intimate dining experiences from early until late.

Fiona Pryde, general manager, Hilton Surfers Paradise Hotel & Residences said the bar is proudly named after regular Ms Margot, who has been visiting daily for a decade for her morning coffee and breakfast. “We chose to name the bar after our beloved Ms. Margot who keeps coming back, day after day, year after year for her daily dose of the famous Hilton Hospitality we provide.”

“We wanted to create a beautiful space where guests and locals will keep coming back to, just
like Ms Margot, to eat, drink and make connections,” Ms Pryde added.

Available from 7AM is the gourmet breakfast menu, followed by a delicious all-day, share-style
menu for lunch and dinner, featuring everything from antipasto to tempura bug rolls, grilled
king prawns, pork belly baos and mouth-watering desserts.

To drink, the bar showcases award-winning Sydney Brewery draught beers and ciders on tap.

The playful cocktail menu has been curated by award winning Hilton Surfers Paradise mixologists with the speciality cocktails all having special meaning and drawing inspiration from family, friends and fun.

The new lobby features a gallery showcasing The Real Human Anatomy Exhibition. It is an exhibition that gets under the skin and gives a comprehensive insight into the human anatomy
by viewing real human bodies, preserved by the process of plastination. Entry to the Exhibition
is $20 per family with part of the proceeds going to Stem Cell research.

Ms Pryde said that creating a new lobby, bar & and gallery during the COVID-19 pandemic created a sense of optimism for the team. “The entire ground floor renovation including the new lobby, Ms Margot’s Bar & Eats and the Exhibition Gallery has been built by local Gold Coast builders, it’s been great to support local family business at this time,” Ms Pryde said.

Whilst the new lobby has many different spaces to while away the time, guests can choose to
skip the front desk and go straight to their room with the launch of contactless Digital Key.

The refurbishments have seen the addition of nine guest rooms, a brand new executive lounge, a new lobby, the addition of three new meeting spaces, the activation of contactless Digital Key and the launch of The Real Human Anatomy Exhibition.

Officially open from Friday, October 9, 2020, Ms Margot’s Bar & Eats and The Real Human Anatomy Exhibition are located at 6 Orchid Avenue, Surfers Paradise.
