Publico Ristorante will host an 8 Hands Super Sheroes dinner in celebration of International Women’s Day on Thursday, 7th and Friday, 8th March 2019. Featuring four of the top female leaders in Singapore’s culinary and bartending scene, the lineup includes Symphony Loo, Campari Brand Ambassador for South East Asia, in addition to Heidi Flanagan, Chef de Cuisine at Origin Grill & Bar, Shangri-La Hotel Singapore, Sujatha Asokan, Executive Chef at The Garage, and Bettina Arguelles, Executive Chef at Publico Ristorante, InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay.

The menu will feature three Italian-fusion dishes, a surprise dessert and two cocktails in line with this year’s theme for International Women’s Day, #BalanceForBetter. Dinner will start with Fremantle Octopus, presented by Chef Heidi Flanagan, featuring succulent octopus charred to perfection, complemented with charcoal potatoes, Galician tomatoes and bronzed fennel. The second course, Beef Arancini from Chef Sujatha Asokan, showcases a rich, umami arancini paired with a custom blend herb pesto and a side of refreshing green papaya, chili and apple salad. The main course, Chicken Albufera, by Chef Bettina Arguelles, stars sous vide yellow chicken, foie gras velouté, and baby root vegetables with shaved black truffle. The final dessert course is a sweet surprise where guests will experience a Femme Brûlée lit up tableside – the full details of the dessert ritual will be unveiled each night.

Completing the set menu are two refreshingly unexpected Campari cocktails – a pre-dinner aperitif, Bittersweet Cherry (semi-dried cherry tomato infused Campari, Cinzano Rosso, Cinzano Bianco, bourbon, prosecco, curry leaf orange oil), and an after-dinner cocktail, Rum the World (Appleton Estate rum, Cinzano Rosso, Averna, coconut oil, grilled pineapple, coffee bean) by Mixologist Symphony Loo.

By showcasing these superstar female chefs and beverage expert, Publico Ristorante aspires to shine a light on the many talented women in Singapore’s hospitality community who have broken barriers and risen to the top of their profession with their innovative and thoughtful creations.
