Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA), the trade association that represents the mutual interests between destinations and stakeholders in the Caribbean and Latin America and Member Lines that operate 95 percent of the global cruising capacity, is proud to announce the opening of the FCCA Online Auction.

Running until Friday, the Auction features discounts on 14 cruises valued at more than $55,000 and venturing around the world, with a focus on the Caribbean, coupled with an initiative to make summer cruising in the region even hotter for trade professionals – all while supporting humanitarian needs in the Caribbean and Latin America.

“We could not be more grateful to our Member Lines for donating these cruises and continuing to support the FCCA Foundation’s mission,” said Michele Paige, president, FCCA. “While this initiative is always rewarding because of its benefit for the Foundation, we are also proud to now use the Auction to highlight summer cruising in the Caribbean; by moving the initiative earlier, our trade partners can experience the options in the Caribbean, as well as the competition around the world.”

Normally taking place during the FCCA Cruise Conference & Trade Show, the largest and only official cruise tourism conference and trade show in the Caribbean and this year taking place in San Juan from October 21-25, the FCCA Online Auction has been moved up by months to shine light on summer cruising in the Caribbean to FCCA’s trade partners.
Open until Friday and accessible for anyone with a valid e-mail address, the Auction features a total of 14 cruises with a total value of more than $55,000, all graciously donated by FCCA Member Lines, with bids starting at half the value and buy-it-now prices with 25% savings.
Options include Caribbean cruises for two on Carnival Cruise Line, Disney Cruise Line, MSC Cruises, Royal Caribbean International and Virgin Voyages; a 10-day Classical Empires Voyage for two on Oceania Cruises; a 7-night Trekking the Tongass Cruise on Regent Seven Seas Cruises; a 7-night Western Mediterranean cruise for two in a verandah stateroom on Costa Cruises; any voyage for two on Azamara; and a host of options for 7-day cruises for two in balcony staterooms onboard Norwegian Encore and a Princess Cruises OceanMedallion Vacation. Most cruises have a wide range of booking options and dates available, with limited black-outs.
All cruises were donated by FCCA Member Lines, and all proceeds benefit the FCCA Foundation, a non-profit, charitable organization that supports humanitarian needs in the Caribbean and Latin America, with annual projects including annual scholastic competitions awarding scholarships and its Holiday Gift Project – which brought presents, festivities and cheer to more than 6,000 deserving children throughout 32 destinations last year – while providing assistance to institutions such as hospitals and orphanages as well as causes including disaster relief, environmental initiatives and more since its inception in 1995.
