More Early Bird specials on the way
According to Australian Frequent Flyer, Qantas, Emirates, Etihad, Qatar Airways, Singapore Airlines, and many other airlines are offering Early Bird sale prices on flights to Europe for travel in 2020. “However, the early-bird sale season is only just beginning. The best prices are not always offered right at the start, and it is likely that new sale fares will continue to be launched across the next month.” See here.
London return from $1240
One of the first cabs off the rank was premium carrier Singapore Airlines. Featured are trending destinations across Asia, Europe and beyond. Remember this airline offers premium class as well as economy. Deals vary from State to State – Adelaide/London economy return is, for instance, from $1240 – premium $3073. Book by 26 September 2019. Choose your seat on Emirates for $1
Emirates economy return fares for travellers start from $1,299 to UK (Business Class $6,999.) As part of the Early Bird offering, Emirates is offering Economy Class travellers regular seat selection for $1 per sector. For example, a family of four could save around $400 for a flight if travelling from Sydney to London Heathrow the carrier says. Rather oddly, the Emirates deals are called Rare Fares – don’t ask me why. More details here
Why not stopover in Switzerland?

Tour companies have Early Bird deals as well – small group operator Albatross Tours for instance has reduced prices on 2020 tours by $600 per couple, or $300pp. The 13 day Croatia & the Adriatic tour for instance is now priced from $5897pp. Highlights include a stay on the lavender island of Hvar and a four night stay in Dubrovnik. Scoot to Europe for $618
You could score some great Scoot fares to Europe during the current flash sale. Scoot is a Singaporean low-cost airline owned by Singapore Airlines. Fares to Athens or Berlin fare rom as little as $618 return (including taxes), for travel between 10th January and 15th June 2020. You have to be quick though – the deal cuts out on Tuesday, 17 September 17. Economy Fly Fares to either Athens or Berlin are from $309 (ex Perth) $329 (ex Gold Coast) and $339 from Sydney or Melbourne. Economy Fly fares are a base fare, with food and baggage at extra cost.
