The world’s largest adventure travel company, Intrepid Group, announced today the appointment of Sarah Morgan and Liz Savage as Non-Executive Directors.

Intrepid Group is celebrating three consecutive years of record growth, with 17% growth in revenue in 2018 and an EBIT result of almost $15M.

Now, the Board is tasked with gearing the company for its next phase of growth with the appointment of two Non-Executive Directors.

It is the first time that Intrepid has expanded its Board since returning to independent ownership in 2015.

Intrepid Group CEO James Thornton says that having two ‘extremely high calibre individuals’ join the Board is a huge endorsement for the business, its broader expansion plans, and its purpose.

With expertise in corporate finance and customer-centred leadership, Morgan and Savage both have experience in high growth businesses. They join Intrepid Group CEO James Thornton and the company’s co-founders Darrell Wade and Geoff Manchester on the board. Wade continues as Executive Chairman.

The largest certified B Corp in Australia, Intrepid Group continues to take measurable action to improve gender equality in its workforce and the new appointments see Intrepid Group achieve 40% female directors on its Board.
