QT Gold Coast has unveiled its reinvented poolside precinct and neighbouring lawn and terrace, The Green. Following the completion of the first stage of a hotel-wide refurbishment including a brand new pool, a private dining room in Yamagen and sixteen refurbished suites, the iconic poolside destination is back, complete with a new conferencing and events space that brings a little Palm Springs to the GC.
Hosting up to 150 guests, The Green typifies QT Gold Coast’s relaxed sense of luxury. Designed by longstanding collaborator and celebrated designer, Nic Graham, the 185 square meter outdoor space contrasts bright tropicana textiles with a minimalist white and ivory palette and QT’s signature crisp black and white stripes, all set amongst an oasis of lush greenery.
Sitting alongside the brand-new pool, The Green is the setting for events that will transport guests to where they’d rather be. The space features a central bar, modgrass, a 3.5m LED screen, festoon lighting, state-of-the-art audio visual and chic new furniture The new precinct radiates relaxed-luxe on its own, or can be transformed for special occasions and brand moments.
Coupled with QT’s unforgettable signature service and the incredible food and beverage with a focus on taking the freshest seasonal produce and applying conscious and contemporary cooking with a hint of QT quirk, result in the most memorable dining experiences. From modern favourites such as taco stations, to handmade sushi, freshly shucked oysters and tuna poke. The Green can host it all, from luxe weddings, to decadent cocktail parties and unforgettable launch events.
Meanwhile for those seeking a slice of Japan, the award-winning Yamagen Japanese has launched The Kanpai Room. Designed to evoke the hustle and bustle of a Tokyo restaurant, the open-closed space creates the perfect enclave for hosting an intimate dinner. Serving up the best Yamagen has to offer including market-fresh sashimi, kushiyaki from the grill and intricate sushi sensations, all washed down with one of Queensland’s largest Japanese whiskey collections.
Delegates are invited to the Palm Springs inspired venue with an exclusive cocktail package to launch the new space. For a minimum of 60 guests, at $125 per person it includes:
