Ever dreamt of dogsledding in the Arctic or seeing the Northern Lights dance above your head? If you have, Visit Lapland has launched a new website for adventure seeking travellers to independently plan and book the widest range of Arctic activities across the Lapland region.

Designed to make booking activities secure and researching Arctic travel trips quick and easy, Visit Lapland has put travellers in control of their own itinerary, allowing them to include only the activities the really want, and save money.

With no booking fee added, every activity is offered at the same price as if visitors researched and contacted each individual supplier directly. For those looking to save even more on their adventure, Visit Lapland will also be working with suppliers this winter on exclusive offers and discounts.

Visit Lapland has launched with 266 individual activities spread across Norway, Finland and Sweden, making it the most comprehensive range of activities bookable online across the Lapland region.

“It’s exciting to see the Northern Lights returning to the region for another exciting winter season in Lapland and with the latest activities added to the site, we are confident that travel to the region has never been easier,” adds Chad Blakely, co-founder of Visit Lapland. “We are all about helping Lapland travel dreams come true, through our advice and bookable activities, a dream Arctic adventure can now become a reality!”

Visit Lapland is working with individual suppliers and has partnered with the biggest regional tourism organisations across Lapland to increase the range of activities through which a visitor can check live availability for activities and book online.

Visit Lapland’s Chad Blakley, said; “We have already seen that visitors to the region are choosing to visit a number of locations, across more than one country. This can be a challenge when planning a trip to the region, however Visit Lapland has been designed to make that process much easier.”

He added; “Lapland offers a visitor something truly magical, whether to hunt for the Northern Lights in Abisko, join a dog sled adventure in Tromso, learn about the Sami culture in Kiruna, or visit Santa in Rovaniemi – a holiday to Lapland offers such a fantastic range of Arctic experiences that simply can’t be done anywhere else!”
