Occupying a multi-storey complex in the gastronomically vibrant Kowloon City, Sanwa Jo has five master chefs at the helm, the curators of the three classics of Japanese cuisine: sushi, teppanyaki, robatayaki and washoku. To reciprocate the wide acclaim it has received for its fine Japanese fare since opening in November 2018, Sanwa Jo will be launching a four-course weekend menu this summer, combining two of its main classical features to offer the three options of Teppanyaki Lobster, Wagyu Sliced Beef, and Cod Fish with Miso Paste. The delectable menu will be complemented by a free flow of Masumi sake, red wine, apple juice from Japan, as well as other beverages.

Beat the lethargic mugginess of the summer with Sanwa Jo’s summer weekend menu! At just HK$498 (plus 10% service charge), the four-course menu spans a great variety of seasonal and succulent sashimi and main courses, as well as a free flow of Masumi sake, red wine, coffee, apple juice from Japan, Coke and Sprite. Choose from the main courses of Teppanyaki Lobster, Wagyu Sliced Beef, or Cod Fish with Miso Paste that is made to order, their authentic flavours furtherenhanced with a unique touch of seasoning.

Also curated to tempt fastidious palates are 10 choices of rice or noodles dishes, from which diners may select two. Traditionally a summer favourite is the Charcoal Grilled Eel Rice, ever since the eel’s stamina-enhancing properties were accidentally discovered during the Edo period. In addition to the vitamins-rich eel rice, also available to help diners stay cool in the summer heat are cold noodles selections of inaniwa udon, plum somen, and soba. Drawing a finale to the scrumptious weekend menu are desserts especially crafted to immerse seamlessly into the polished Japanese-style interior decor, a space conducive to intimacy and relaxation galore with friends and family.

Sanwa Jo’s four-course summer weekend menu will be available from 2pm to 6pm (last order at 5:30pm) every Saturday and Sunday from 1 June onwards. Diners of the four-course summer menu may enjoy a la carte items from the main menu at 20% off (order placement between 2pm and 5:30pm), or extend their moreish indulgences through to the dinner session at Sanwa Jo’s respective levels for sushi and sashimi, teppanyaki, robatayaki, and washoku.
